This is a very fun workshop, where you can paint a pair of souvenir clogs (14 cm) or one large clog in your own way.
You will be welcomed in the workshop room where you will start decorating the clogs. There will be some example decorations available, but feel free to give free rein to your own creativity. In addition, there are various stencils you can use to decorate your wooden shoes.
Of course, the guided tour of the cheese farm and clog factory is part of the programme. This includes tasting various delicious cheeses in the shop. After the tour, your wooden shoes will be dry and can be taken home.

It's very easy to visit the Simonehoeve by public transport. From Central Station IJ-zijde with EBS-bus 316 and from Station Noord with EBS-bus 312, bus stop Hotel Volendam - Katwoude.It is a one minute walk to our cheese farm. A day ticket - Waterland ticket costs € 12,50 for adults and is free for children under the age of 11. You can go from Amsterdam to Marken, Simonehoeve, Volendam and Hoorn and so on.
On the A10 ring road in Amsterdam North, take exit S116 Volendam, and follow the N247 for about 17 kilometers through Broek in Waterland, and along Monnickendam and Katwoude, until the roundabout (you see Hotel Volendam - Van der Valk- on the right) with the direction to Volendam. Then you are at the Simonehoeve where we are waiting for you.
