Den Haag

The Hague is the only large city with a beach right on the North Sea coast. The city has many monuments, chic hotels and a political heart. The government of the Netherlands is located on the historic Binnenhof and the King's working palace is located on Noordeinde. You can visit beautiful art museums and spend a day of high class shopping. The tram takes you from the center to Scheveningen or Kijkduin in twenty minutes, where you can enjoy the sun, beach and sea.
